Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

  • Masks are optional for students.

  • Form-fitting clothing is encouraged. Leggings should cover the back of your knees. Shirts should be tight enough to stay put when you are upside-down and long enough to tuck in (if needed). A leotard or unitard that covers your back is a good choice.

If you have long underarm hair, we ask that you wear a shirt that covers the underarm area for hygiene purposes.

In addition, out of consideration for other students and the equipment, we ask that students wear clean clothes and clean face masks for class.

Grip socks are required for all classes.

  • Due to hygiene purposes, we ask all students to wear grip socks that also cover the toes. Grip socks must be worn on all gymnastics mats, landing mats, and apparatuses. Grip socks reduce the exposure to and spread of foot fungus. In addition, they absorb sweat and keep feet dry while reducing the risk of slipping on apparatuses.

  • Grip socks can be purchased online, e.g., on Amazon. Grip socks can also be purchased from us for $5.

  • To ensure safety of the students and safe use of apparatuses, we have a weight limit of 250 lbs.

  • Our minimum age limit is 6 years old.

  • To sign up for class, please go to the Schedule page.

  • Unfortunately, we do not admit drop-ins. Students must register for class online ahead of time.

  • The maximum number of students per class is 6.

  • To ensure the safety of students, students will take turns. This also allows the instructor to watch each student to optimize their skill development.
